This uncirculated 5 Gambian dalasi banknote is a standard circulation banknote introduced by the Central Bank of Gambia in 1996. It is a red banknote that bear the signatures of Junkung A. Bayo and Momodu Clarke Bajo, and measures 132 mm x 69 mm. Its obverse side shows a giant kingfisher (Megaceryle maxima) and a Gambian girl. Its reverse side depicts a man and cattle in a field. Security features include a solid security thread with printed THE GAMBIA and a watermark of a crocodile head.
