The Gambia 50 Dalasis banknote is part of the 2019 issues. It is purple in color and measures 125 x 65 mm. The obverse side shows the coat of arms of the Gambia, a bird in flight, and one perched on a branch. It also shows birds, trees, and boats in its underprint. The reverse side features the 8th-century Senegambian stone circles found in Wassu and two standing bush fowls. This TAP 60-70 Authenticated banknote uses a green-to-red holographic windowed security thread with demetalized bird and 50 and contains a watermark with a crocodiles head, an electrotype 50 and a palm tree, and Cornerstones design.
