This uncirculated 1 Georgian lari note is part of the series of banknotes issued by the National Bank of Georgia in 1995, designed by Nodar Malazonia and signed by Nodar Javakhishvili and David Iakobidze. It is a purple, green, and blue note that measures 115 mm x 61 mm. Its obverse side features the grapevine carving from the Samtavisi Cathedral, a Borjgali (the Georgian symbol for the sun), the Christian Tree of Life, and a portrait of the Georgian painter Niko Pirosmanashvili. Its reverse side depicts a view of Tbilisi (the capital of Georgia) and a stag from Piromani’s painting Roe Deer. Security features include a solid security thread and a watermark of the Borjgali and the Tree of Life. The details of this note have been verified and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
