The Georgia 100 Lari Banknote was issued by the National Bank of Georgia in 2014. Featured on the obverse of the green banknote are two angels holding a cross, the Borjgali depicting the sun symbol and the Tree of Life, and poet Shota Rustaveli. On the obverse is a representation of the VII-century “Daniel in the Den of Lions” bas relief from the Martvili Cathedral of Assumption of the Virgin Mary. The banknote contains a windowed security thread with a demetallized LARI and a watermark that reveals Shota Rustaveli with an electrotype 100 GEL. The note is 140 x 67 mm in size. It is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
