Georgia 100 Lari Banknote, 2020, P-80a.2, UNC

This uncirculated 100 Georgian lari note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the National Bank of Georgia. It is a violet note that is dated 2020, bears the signature of Koba Gvenetadze, and measures 142 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side features a magenta-to-green SPARK feature, a portrait of Shota Rustaveli, a 7th-century bas-relief of “Daniel in the Den of Lions” from the Martvili Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, and the poem “The Knight in the Tiger Skin”. Its reverse side shows the national coat of arms and a view of the Zakaria Paliashvili Tbilisi State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet in Tbilisi. Security features include an iridescent stripe, a denomination registration device, a holographic stripe with Shota Rustaveli, 100, the lari symbol, flowers, and the map of Georgia, a blue-to-red windowed security thread with demetalized 100 lari, and a watermark of Shota Rustaveli with an electrotype 100 and the lari symbol.
