Georgia 2 Lari Banknote, 1995, P-54, UNC

The Georgian 2 Lari banknote from 1995 is part of 1993 - 1995 series. It measures 115 x 61 mm and was designed by Nodar Malazonia. The banknote's front design depicts a portrait of Georgian composer Zakaria Paliashvili, a musical staff with overture notes from the opera Abesalom and Eteri", and the Borjgali as the symbol of the sun and tree of life. The reverse side features the Zakaria Paliashvili Tbilisi State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet on Freedom Square in Tbilisi. The note is equipped with a solid security thread and a Borjgali and tree of life pattern watermark to enhance its security features.
