This uncirculated 20 Georgian lari note is a standard banknote issued by the National Bank of Georgia. It is a magenta note that is dated 2016, bears the signature of Giorgi Kadagidze, and measures 132 mm x 66 mm. Its obverse side shows a magenta-to-green SPARK feature, a portrait of publisher Ilia Chavchavadze, his personal belongings, and the publishing house of the magazine Sakartvelos Moambe and newspaper Iveria. Its reverse side depicts a panorama of old Tbilisi featuring the Narikala fortress, an equestrian monument of King Vakhtang Gorgasali, the national coat of arms, and a map of Tbilisi in the 18th century prepared by Vakhushti Batonishvili. Security features include a denomination registration device, an iridescent stripe, a holographic stripe with Ilia Chavchavadze, 20, a phaeton, and a map of Georgia, a magenta-to-gold windowed security thread with a demetalized 20 and Georgian text, and a watermark of Ilia Chavchavadze with an electrotype 20 and lari symbol.
