Georgia 250 Kuponi Banknote, 1993, P-43a, UNC

The blue 250 Georgian kuponi note from 1993 is part of the fourth kuponi series issued by the National Bank of Georgia that were designed by Nodar and Bachana Malazonia. This note is in uncirculated condition. Its obverse side replicates the griffin carving in the Samtavisi Cathedral. The griffins are flanking the Borjgali, Georgias symbol for the sun, and the Tree of Life. Its reverse side is vertically oriented and features the grape vine carvings from the Samtavisi Cathedral. Security features include a solid security thread and a rhombus pattern watermark. Its dimensions are 115 mm by 55 mm.
