This uncirculated 50 Georgian lari banknote is a standard banknote issued by the National Bank of Georgia. It is a brown banknote that is dated 2004, bear the signatures of Irakli Managadze and Zurab Noghaideli, and measures 135 mm x 66 mm. Its obverse side shows a portrait of King Tamar, the carving of a griffin from the Samtavisi Cathedral, the Borjgali (Georgian symbol for the sun), and the Tree of Life. Its reverse side depicts the astrological sign of Sagittarius from a Georgian miniature manuscript of the XII century. Security features include a windowed security thread with a demetalized LARI and a watermark of King Tamar with an electrotype 50 GEL.
