This uncirculated 5 German mark banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the State Bank of the German Democratic Republic. It is a purple banknote that is dated 1975 and measures 113 mm x 50 mm. Its obverse side shows a portrait of theologian Thomas Muntzer and the national coat of arms. Its reverse side depicts combine tractors in a wheat field and the national coat of arms. Security features include a solid security thread and a watermark of Thomas Muntzer.
