This used 1,000 German mark note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Imperial Bank. It is a brown and green note that is dated 10 October 1903, bear the signatures of Koch & Gallenkamp, Frommer, von Glasenapp, von Klitzing, Schmiedicke, Korn, Gotzmann, and von Lumm, and measures 187 mm x 110 mm. Its obverse side features two Reichsbank seals, the imperial crown, and an eagle. Its reverse side shows the allegorical depiction of Seafaring and Abundance. The note does not have a security thread or a watermark. It was withdrawn in 1925.
