This used 1,000 German mark note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Imperial Bank. It is a brown and green note that is dated 10 September 1909, bear the signatures of Havenstein & von Glasenapp, Schmiedicke, Korn, Maron, von Lumm, von Grimm, Kauffman, and Schneider, and measures 187 mm x 110 mm. Its obverse side features two Reichsbank seals, the imperial crown, and an eagle. Its reverse side shows the allegorical depiction of Seafaring and Abundance. The note does not have a security thread or a watermark. It was withdrawn in 1925.
