This uncirculated 100,000 German mark banknote is dated 1 February 1923 and signed by Havenstein and von Glasenapp, von Grimm, Kauffman Schneider, Budczies, Bernhard, Seiffert, Vocke, Friedrich, Fuchs, and P. Schneider. It is a brown, black, and lilac note that measures 190 mm x 115 mm. Its obverse side shows The Merchant Georg Gisze by Hans Holbein, a black Reichsbank seal, and the imperial eagle. Its reverse side shows guilloches. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a watermark that shows oak leaves and foxing due to the natural aging of paper. The note was demonetized in 1925.
