Germany 100 Reichsmark banknote from 1924 has a pick number P-178, is in used condition, and features the Portrait of an English Lady.


This used 100 German reichsmark note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Imperial Bank. It is a brown and turquoise note that is dated 11 October 1924, bear the signatures of Schacht & Kauffmann, von Grimm, Schneider, Budczies, Bernhard, Seiffert, Vocke, Friedrich, Fuchs, and P. Schneider, and measures 180 mm x 90 mm. Its obverse side features the Portrait of an English Lady by Hans Holbein and a black Reichsbank seal. Its reverse side shows guilloches. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a watermark of an eagle in a semi-circle with Reichsbank. The note was withdrawn in 1948.
