This uncirculated 2 German mark note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Imperial Debt Office. It is a red and black note that is dated 12 August 1914, bear the signatures of Warnecke, Sprenger, V. Bischoffshausen, Vieregge, Muller Noelle and Dickhuth, and measures 110 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side features a red Reichsschuldenverwaltung seal. Its reverse side shows an imperial eagle. Though there is no security thread, there is still a watermark of blossom pattern. The note was withdrawn in 1924. The details of this note have been verified and TAP Authenticated by Banknote World experts.
