Germany 2 Millionen - Million Mark banknote from 1923 has a pick number P-103a.2, is in used condition and features two black Reichsbank seals. Additionally, the note is part of the J series.


This used 2 million German mark note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Imperial Bank to address post-war hyperinflation. It is a black-on-white and violet note that is dated 9 August 1923, bear the signatures of Havenstein & von Glasenapp, von Grimm, Kauffmann, Schneider, Budczies, Bernhard, Seiffert, Vocke, Friedrich, Fucks, and P. Schneider, and measures 125 mm x 80 mm. Its obverse side features two black Reichsbank seals. Its reverse side is blank. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a single-letter serial number that starts with J and a watermark of oak leaves. The note was withdrawn in 1925.
