Germany 2 Millionen - Million Mark banknote from 1923 has a pick number P-89a.2, is in uncirculated (UNC) condition, and features Georg Gisze.


This uncirculated 2 million German mark note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Imperial Bank. It is a brown, orange, pink, and green note that is dated 23 July 1923, bear the signatures of Havenstein & von Glasenapp, von Grimm, Kauffmann, Schneider, Budczies, Bernhard, Seiffert, Vocke, Friedrich, Fuchs, and P. Schneider, and measures 162 mm x 87 mm. Its obverse side features The Merchant Georg Gisze, black Reichsbank seals, and an imperial eagle. Its reverse side shows guilloches and the denomination. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a watermark of circles. The note was withdrawn in 1925.
