Germany 20 Mark banknote from 1918 has a pick number P-57, is in uncirculated (UNC) condition, and features Pallas and Mercury.


This uncirculated 20 German mark note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Imperial Debt Office. It is a red and brown note that is dated 20 February 1918, bear the signatures of v. Bischoffshausen, Vieregge Muller, Noelle Dickuth, Sprenger Lothar, and V. Drenkmann Mucke, and measures 140 mm x 90 mm. Its obverse side features the profiles of Pallas and Mercury. Its reverse side shows a knight and a woman. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a watermark of a 20. The note was withdrawn in 1924.
