Germany 20 Reichsmark Banknote, 1939, P-185, Used

This used 20 German reichsmark note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Imperial Bank. It is a brown and turquoise note that is dated 16 June 1939, bears the signature of Walther Funk, and measures 160 mm x 80 mm. Its obverse side features a woman holding an edelweiss flower, a swastika, and a black Reichsbank seal. Its reverse side shows a view of the Dachstein Glacier and two farmers. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a watermark of a woman’s head. The note was withdrawn in 1948.
