The Germany 200 Deutsche Mark Banknote comes from the 1989-1999 series that made use of advanced security features. This banknote measures 162 x 77 mm and reddish-orange in color. The obverse side features renowned German scientist Paul Ehrlich along with the molecular structure of arsenobenzol, the compound he is most famous for. Meanwhile, the reverse side shows a microscope, viruses and bacteria, the rod of Asclepius and a chemistry beaker. The banknote also has a windowed security thread and a watermark that bears Paul Ehrlichs image.
