The Germany 5,000 Mark Banknote was issued by the Imperial Bank in 1922 to address hyperinflation. The note comes in a combination of brown and green. Its obverse depicts a man from Albrecht Durer’s 1521 Merchant Imhof. It also shows the brown Reichsbank seal and imperial eagles. The reverse depicts imperial eagles. The note does not contain a security thread. It is 130 x 90 mm in size and is signed by Havenstein & von Glasenapp, von Grimm, Kauffman, Schneider, Budczies, Bernhard, Seiffert, Vocke, Friedrich, Fuchs, and P. Schneider. This particular banknote bears a 6-digit serial with the prefix H. It is in used condition.
