This uncirculated 5 German mark note is dated 1 August 1917 and signed by v. Bischoffshausen, Vieregge, Mueller Noelle, Dickhuth, Sprenger, Lothar, and v. Drenkmann. Its purple obverse side shows the imperial eagle seal and a portrait of a young woman. Its green reverse side shows the imperial crown and two blue Reichsschuldenverwaltung seals. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a watermark that shows a 5 and ornaments. Its dimensions are 125 mm x 80 mm. The note was withdrawn from circulation in 1924.
