Germany 50,000 Mark banknote from 1922 has a pick number P-79, is in used condition, and features Mayor Brauweiler.


This used 50,000 German mark note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Imperial Bank. It is a black on white and green note that is dated 19 November 1922, bear the signatures of Havenstein & von Glasenapp, von Grimm, Kauffmann, Schneider, Budczies, Bernhard, Seiffert, Vocke, Friedrich, Fuchs, and P. Schneider, and measures 190 mm x 100 mm. Its obverse side features the portrait of Mayor Brauweiler by Barthel Bruyn and two Reichsbank seals. Its reverse side shows guilloches. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a watermark of oak leaves. The note was withdrawn in 1925.
