The Germany Federal Republic 50 Deutsche Mark Banknote was issued by the German central bank in 1993 as a replacement banknote. Featured on the obverse of this olive brown banknote is architect Balthasar Neumann. It also depicts proportional dividers and buildings in Wurzburg. The reverse features the bank logo, the abbey church of Neresheim with a cupola, the staircase of the Wurzburg Residence, a ground plan, and the Holy Cross Chapel of Kitzingen-Etwashausen. The banknote contains a windowed security thread with a demetallized 50 DM and a watermark that reveals Balthasar Neumann and 50. It is 146 x 71 mm in size. This replacement banknote is in uncirculated condition.
