Germany 50 Milliarden - Billion Mark banknote from 1923 has a pick number P-119, is in used condition, and features Reichsbank seals.


This used 50 milliarden (billion) German mark note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Imperial Bank to address postwar hyperinflation. It is an orange and turquoise note that is dated 10 October 1923, bear the signatures of Havenstein & von Glasenapp, von Grimm, Kauffmann, Schneider, Budczies, Bernhard, Seiffert, Vocke, Friedrich, Fuchs, and P. Schneider, and measures 183 mm x 87 mm. Its obverse side features two Reichsbank seals and the denomination. Its reverse side is blank. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a blossom pattern watermark. The note was withdrawn in 1925. This note may contain ink stains, minor tearing, and/or folding.
