This used 50 German reichsmark note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Imperial Bank. It is a green and brown note that is dated 30 March 1933, bear the signatures of Schacht & Dreyse, Bernhard, Seiffert, Vocke, Friedrich, Fuchs, and Schneider, and measures 170 mm x 85 mm. Its obverse side features underprint letters ranging from A to X, a green Reichsbank seal, and a portrait of politician David Hansemann. Its reverse side shows the profile of Mercury with a caduceus and seated cherubs. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a watermark of David Hansemann. The note was withdrawn in 1948.
