This used 50 German reichsmark note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Imperial Bank. It is a green and brown note that is dated 30 March 1933, bear the signatures of Schacht & Dreyse, Bernhard, Seiffert, Vocke, Friedrich, Fuchs, and Schneider, and measures 170 mm x 85 mm. Its obverse side features an F underprint letter, a green Reichsbank seal, and a portrait of the politician David Hansemann. Its reverse side shows seated cherubs holding scales, a pen, and paper, and the profile of Mercury with a caduceus. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a watermark of David Hansemann with an embossed seal. The note was withdrawn in 1948.
