This used 500,000 German mark note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Imperial Bank to address hyperinflation. It is a red on white and violet note that is dated 25 July 1923, bear the signatures of Von Glasenapp, Von Grimm, Kauffmann, Budczies, Bernhard, Seiffert, Vocke, Friedrich, Fuchs, P. Schneider, Havenstein and Schneider, and measures 175 mm x 80 mm. Its obverse side features two red Reichsbank seals. Its reverse side is blank. Though there is no security thread, there is still a watermark of 500 M in spiral. This note was withdrawn in 1925.
