Germany 500 Milliarden - Billion Mark banknote from 1923 has a pick number P-124, is in used (C) condition, and features a man.


This used 500 Milliarden - Billion Mark Germany note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Imperial Bank to address hyperinflation. It is a lilac, brown, green, and blue note that is dated 1923, bear the signatures of Von Grimm, Kauffmann, Budczies, Bernhard, Seiffert, Vocke, Schneider, Friedrich, Fuchs, P. Schneider, Havenstein and Von Glasenapp, and measures 148 x 90 mm. Its obverse side features Vertical black 500 / MILLIARDEN / MARK overprint, head of man from Barthel Beham’s Man with Child, two black Reichsbank seals and imperial eagle. Its reverse side shows a horizontal black 500 / MILLIARDEN / MARK overprint and guilloches. Though there is no security thread, there is still a watermark of 5000 Mark in spiral. Additionally, this note was withdrawn on 05 July 1925.
