This uncirculated 50 pfennig note was issued in the city of Bayreuth in 1918 as an emergency note during the war. It is a pink note that measures 96 mm long and 59 mm wide. Its obverse side contains the denomination, date, serial number, and terms of use. Its reverse side features a view of the Festspielhaus (Festival Theater), the theatre that Wagner designed.
