This replacement print of the Germany 10 Deutsche Mark banknote from 1991 has a serial number that starts with the prefix Y. Its front design depicts a portrait of German scientist Carl Friedrich Gauss, the Gaussian distribution curve, and the buildings in Goettingen. The reverse side features the bank logo, a heliotrope, and the triangulation network. The note measures 130 x 65 mm and is equipped with a windowed security thread with demetalized 10 DM and a Carl Friedrich Gauss watermark and numeric 10 to enhance its security features. This replacement banknote has been given a grade of 67 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
