The Germany Federal Republic 10 Deutsche Mark from 1993 is part of the 1989 - 1999 series. Its obverse side features buildings in Goettingen City, an illustration of the Gaussian distribution curve, and a portrait of German scientist Carl Friedrich Gauss. The reverse side features the bank logo, a heliotrope, and a triangulation network. The note is 130 x 65 mm in size and contains a Windowed security thread with demetalized 10 DM to enhance its security features. A watermark image of Carl Friedrich Gauss and 10 is also made visible under a UV light.
