This Germany Federal Republic 10 Mark banknote from 1993 is part of the 1989 - 1999 series. Its obverse side features a portrait of German scientist Carl Friedrich Gauss with the buildings in Goettingen and the Gaussian distribution curve in the background. The reverse side features the bank logo, a heliotrope, and the triangulation network. The note measures 130 x 65 mm and is equipped with a windowed security thread with demetalized 10 DM as part of its security features. Placing the note under a UV light would reflect a Carl Friedrich Gauss watermark and numeric 10.
