This uncirculated 5 Deutsche Mark note was designed and issued in 1991, two years after the reunification of the Federal Republic of Germany. The deutsche mark was replaced by the euro in 2001. Its obverse side honors the German Romantic writer Bettina von Arnim and the Wiepersdorf Estate. Its reverse side shows the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin. Security features include a windowed security thread and a watermark of Bettina von Arnim with a 5. Its dimensions are 122 mm by 62 mm.
