This 5 Deutsche Mark Germany Federal Republic note is a replacement banknote issued by the German Central Bank. It is a greenish-yellow note that is dated 1991, bear the signatures of Hans Tietmeyer and Helmut Schlesinger, and measures 122 x 62 mm. Its obverse side features buildings, Wiepersdorf estate, cornucopia and writer Bettina von Arnim. Its reverse side shows a bank logo, Brandenburg gate, signatures of Goethe, Clemens Brentano and others and an open envelope. Security features include a windowed security thread with demetalized 5 DM and a watermark of Bettina von Arnim and 5. The note is graded 68 by the Paper Money Guaranty (PMG).
