This Germany 50 Deutsche Mark banknote from 1991 is part of the 1989 - 1999 series. The obverse side of the note features a portrait of German architect Balthasar Neumann along with the buildings in Wurzburg and proportional dividers in the background. On the reverse are the bank logo, the abbey church of Neresheim with cupola, the staircase of Wurzburg Residence, the Holy Cross Chapel of Kitzingen-Etwashausen, and a ground plan. The security features of the note include a Windowed security thread with demetalized 50 DM and a watermark image of Balthasar Neumann and numeric 50. The note measures 146 x 71 mm.
