This uncirculated 50 Deutsche Mark note is a replacement banknote issued by German Central Bank. It is an olive brown note that is dated 2 January 1989, bear the signatures of Karl Otto Pohl and Helmut Schlesinger, and measures 146 mm x 71 mm. Its obverse side features the architect Balthasar Neumann, buildings in Wurzburg, and proportional dividers. Its reverse side shows the bank logo, the abbey church of Neresheim, the staircase of the Wurzburg Residence, and the ground plan of the Holy Cross Chapel of Kitzingen-Etwashausen. Security features include a windowed security thread with demetallized 50 DM and a watermark of Balthasar Neumann with a 50.
