This replacement print of the Germany 50 Deutsche Mark banknote was issued in 1993. Its 146 x 71 mm in size and contains a serial number that starts with the prefix YA. The banknote's front design depicts the buildings in Wurzburg, proportional dividers, and a portrait of German architect Balthasar Neumann. On the reverse is a ground plan, the bank logo, the abbey church of Neresheim with cupola, the staircase of Wurzburg Residence, and the Holy Cross Chapel of Kitzingen-Etwashausen. The security features of the note include a watermark image of Balthasar Neumann and numeric 50, and a windowed security thread with demetalized 50 DM. This replacement banknote has been given a grade of 66 by the Paper Money Guaranty.
