The Germany Federal Republic 50 Deutsche Mark banknote from 1993 is part of the 1989 - 1999 series. Its obverse side features a portrait of German architect Balthasar Neumann, along with proportional dividers and the buildings in Wurzburg. The reverse side features the abbey church of Neresheim with cupola, the staircase of Wurzburg Residence, the Holy Cross Chapel of Kitzingen-Etwashausen, and a ground plan. This replacement print has a serial number that starts with the prefix YA and measures 146 x 71 mm. Its security features include a windowed security thread with demetalized 50 DM and a watermark image of Balthasar Neumann and numeric 50.
