This uncirculated 1,000 cedis Ghana note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Ghana. It is a brown, green, and blue note that is dated 2003, bears the signature of Paul A. Acquah, and measures 140 x 70 mm. Its obverse side features a coat of arms and gemstones. Its reverse side shows men harvesting cocoa pods with machetes. Security features include a windowed security thread and a watermark of coat of arms with electrotype 1000. This note was withdrawn on 01 January 2008.
