This uncirculated 5 Ghanaian cedi note is part of the series of notes issued after the currency reform. It is dated 7 February 1979 and signed by Bank of Ghana Governor Alex EK Ashiabor. It is a red note that measures 148 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side features an old man, a star, and a carving of an ancestral totem. Its reverse side depicts loggers with a large tree. Security features include a solid security thread and a watermark of an eagle head above a star.
