Ghana 5 Cedis Banknote, 2017, P-43, UNC, Commemorative

The Ghana 5 Cedis Banknote was issued by the Bank of Ghana in 2017 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of central banking in ghana. It has a color combination of blue, orange, and green. Its obverse features the Flagstaff House which is the presidential palace. It also shows the coat of arms of Ghana and James Emman Kwegyir Aggrey. The reverse depicts coconuts the Kwame Nkrumah floating production storage and offloading vessel, Ntomme offshore oil fields, a cacao pod, gold bars, a QR code, and cowrie shells. The banknote contains a windowed security thread with demetallized 5 and a star. It also has a solid security thread, a star registration device, and a watermark that reveals James Emman Kwegyir Aggrey and an electrotype 5. The banknote is 131 x 68 mm in size. This commemorative banknote is in uncirculated condition.
