This uncirculated 50 Ghanaian cedi note is part of the new cedi series issued by the Bank of Ghana. It is an orange and brown note that is dated 01 July 2015 and signed by Dr. Henry Kofi Wampah. Its obverse side features the Freedom and Justice Arch in Independence Square, a stack of nine gold bars, a green-to-blue SPARK cocoa pod, and the portrait of the six leaders of the United Gold Coast Convention: Kwame Nkrumah, Ebenezer Ako Adjei, Edward Akufo-Addo, Joseph Boakye Danquah, Emmanuel Odarkwei Obetsebi-Lamptey, and William Ofori Atta. Its reverse side features gold bars and the Christiansborg Castle, the seat of the government building in Accra. Security features include a red-to-green windowed security thread with demetalized GHANA 50 and a watermark of Tetteh Quarshie, a cocoa pod, an electrotype 50, and Cornerstones.
