The Gibraltar 20 Pound Banknote was issued by the Government of Gibraltar in 2004 to commemorate the tercentary of the country. The note has hints of pink and blue and bears English text. Its obverse features Queen Elizabeth II. It also shows a flower, Barbary partridge birds, the Rock of Gibraltar, a cannon, a holographic shield with flags, and the coat of arms of Gibraltar with a castle and a key. The reverse of the note depicts seagull birds, a Barbary ape, skeleton keys, the John Mackintosh Square, horses with riders, soldiers with rifles, and citizens in 18th-century street scene. The banknote contains a windowed security thread with a demetallized 1704-2004. It also bears a watermark that reveals Queen Elizabeth II. It is 150 x 80 mm in size and is signed by Timothy J. Bristow. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
