Gibraltar 20 Pounds commemorative banknote from 2004 has a pick number P-31, is in uncirculated (UNC) condition, and features Queen Elizabeth II.


This 20 Gibraltar pound note was issued by the Government of Gibraltar in 2004 to commemorate the tercentenary of British rule in Gibraltar. It is a pink and blue note that is dated 4th August 2004 and signed by Timothy J. Bristow. Its obverse side shows the Gibraltar coat of arms of a castle with a key, a holographic shield with flags, the Rock of Gibraltar, a cannon, Barbary partridge birds, and a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Its reverse side shows seagulls, Barbary apes (Macacus sylvanus), skeleton keys, a view of John Mackintosh Square, and a picture of an 18th-century street scene. Security features include a windowed security thread with demetalized 1704-2004 and a watermark of Queen Elizabeth II. Its dimensions are 150 mm x 80 mm.
