The Gibraltar 5 Pound Banknote was issued by the Government of Gibraltar in 1988 bearing a radar serial number. The obverse of the green banknote features the Rock of Gibraltar, the coat of arms with a castle and a key, Queen Elizabeth II wearing the Kokoshnik tiara of Queen Alexandra, the Festoon necklace of King George VI, and the pair of Floret earrings of Queen Mary. The reverse of the note banknote depicts the Old Convent Guard House with a flag. The paper bill contains a solid security thread and watermark that reveals Queen Elizabeth II. The note is 145 x 77 mm in size and bears the signature of Brian Traynor. This particular paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
