This uncirculated 5 Gibraltar pound note was introduced by the Governor of Gibraltar in 2000 to commemorate the millennium. It is a green and purple note that bears the signature of Timothy Bristow. Its obverse side features Queen Elizabeth II, a Gibraltar candytuft flower, the Gibraltar coat of arms, a 7th-century BC Egyptian vase, a gold foil, and a crown. Its reverse side shows a gondola, dolphins, a Barbary ape, and the Rock of Gibraltar Marina. Security features include a windowed security thread, a solid serial number, and a watermark of Queen Elizabeth II. Its dimensions are 135 mm x 70 mm.
