The Gibraltar 50 Pounds Banknote was released by the Government of Gibraltar in 2010 in a combination of red and brown. Featured on its obverse is the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. It also shows the coat of arms of a castle with a key. The reverse depicts Casemates Square buildings. The note’s security features include a registration device in the form of a crenelated castle tower, a windowed security thread with a demetallized denomination, a watermark that reveals Queen Elizabeth II, electrotype text, and Cornerstones. The banknote is signed by Dilip Dayaram Tirathdas and is 155 x 85 mm in size. It is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
