Reviews:

The Great Britain 1 Pound Banknote was introduced by the Bank of England in 1978 and was designed by Henry Eccleston. It has green and orange combinations. Its obverse features a seated Britannia, the medallion of caduceus, a cornucopia, and an olive branch, and a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Its reverse honors the scientist Sir Isaac Newton whose discoveries and theories on physics, astrology, and mathematics revolutionized the field of science. A model of the solar system, a geometric diagram from Newton’s Principia, a telescope, and a portrait of Sir Isaac Newton are shown on the reverse side of the note. Security features include a solid security thread and a watermark of Isaac Newton. The note measures 135 mm x 67 mm. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
