Great Britain 1 Pound Banknote, 1981-1984 ND, P-377b, PMG 66

Withdrawn on March 1988, the 1981 British pound banknote measures 135 mm by 67 mm. This note has a Paper Money Grade (PMG) of 66. It features a young Queen Elizabeth II, a medallion with the caduceus, cornucopia and olive branch inside, and a circle with the image of a seated Britannia on its obverse side, and highlights Sir Isaac Newton and some of his contributions to the advancement of the scientific field on its reverse side. The note has a watermark of Isaac Newton and a solid security thread.
